Service - Maintenance & Backup

Without a doubt, information is the most valuable commodity. Experts say that information is only as valuable as the method it is distributed, but it is our opinion that information is only as valuable as it's backup. Imagine if you lost all your files, accounting data, email addresses and messages, photos or historical information. You would probably be completely lost without them. In addition, the backup is only as good as what you do with it.

Backup Systems

The type of backup system you need depends on the amount of data to backup and the frequency that you want to back it up. Tape drives hold a lot of information, but takes a long time to process. CDs and DVDs are faster to backup, but do not hold as much information as tapes. We recommend an external hard drive using either a USB or Firewire connection. They range in capacity up to 1000GB, and are very easy to use.

Backup Service

We offer a complete off-site backup service at very reasonable rates. One of our bondable technicians will connect an external hard drive to your server, or individual machines and back up as much or as little information as you require. Once the backup is complete, the drive will be returned to our office and stored in our fire-proof safe. This service can be done daily, weekly, monthly, or however often you need it. While the technician is waiting for the backup to complete, they can also perform regular maintenance on other machines. This can consist of hardware or software repairs, updates, cleaning, etc. Pricing depends on the amount of data to be backed up, and the number of computers that need maintenance.
